Today I wanted to share something quick and easy because it is a holiday and I’d much rather be spending time with family and snuggling my cute baby boy. This recipe will dress up any green salad, bagged or your own. I find these croutons delicious and have a hard time getting all of them onto my salad. Feel free to adjust the amount of seasonings to your liking.
Yield: 2 cups croutons
Time: 10 minutes
- 2 cups french bread, cubed
- 3 T olive oil
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1-2 Tbl powdered parmesean cheese
- Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cube bread. Place cubed bread and olive oil in a large ziplock bag. Shake.
- Step 2
Add seasonings and cheese. Shake once more until evenly distributed.
- Step 3
Place croutons on a large baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 3-5 mintes, or until dry. Serve over salad.
