LIFE AS OF LATE

I think it has been about a week since I posted anything.  I hit the wall of writing I guess.  I have always wanted to make this blog something I want to do, not forced and so I allowed myself to take a break for a few days rather than force something out of me.  I still don’t have much to say after that week other than I feel incredibly blessed.

I’m currently taking a deck break with W.  We have a blanket out on our little patio and are enjoying the 65 degree weather.  We are up on a balcony where we can look out over the shared lawn.  There are a set of ducks working their way through the lawn.  All that W wants to do is practice sitting up.  That’s all he wants all of the time. I can’t believe he is already 3 months, closer to 4!  It is flying by.  He gave us a true giggle on Sunday and now only gives them out if we have earned them.  Right now he has found his feet and pulls on his socks.  We are entering the grab everything within reach stage.  It is a perfect afternoon.

My view on my run this morning

Yesterday was our 3rd Anniversary!  It has been the greatest 3 years anyone could hope for.  I think back on those 3 years and so much has changed I can’t imagine what 30 years will bring.  3 years ago we  both were in school and trying to plan a wedding, working, and now here we are living in another city, graduated, working and have a BABY! What a joy it has been! I don’t think I could have understood on my wedding day how much I would be able to love someone and how that love could grow. I feel truly blessed.

We are still this happy, or even more so

We made sushi to celebrate, it was my first time making it at home and I think we are both hooked!

Little W thought he needed to eat some too

So that’s it for today but I promise to write again soon. I’m off to sew some projects!

Much love,

Larisa

Here’s a little about me: I usually don’t buy things that I could make. I like to read and learn. I have dreams of being a mom, living in foreign countries, and trying new things. I take a ton of pictures. I collect rocks from the places I’ve been. I’m trying to learn French. I like to eat. I’m a Mormon.
